“I don’t understand this,” she says.

Finally, the child closes the book and says: “Maybe I am just not good at Math.” But the problem is not the child. Somewhere along the way, a small concept was missed. That gap made the next lesson confusing—and every lesson after that feel more difficult.

The Problem
For many students, mathematics gradually becomes a subject to fear rather than a concept to understand.
Children are often expected to memorise formulas, follow fixed procedures and arrive at the correct answer—without fully understanding why the method works.
When one foundational concept is missed, the next topic becomes harder. Over time, these learning gaps grow, confidence falls and students begin to believe that they are simply “not Math people."
Parents may recognize the struggle but may not know exactly where the learning gap began. Teachers, despite their best efforts, may have limited time to provide every student with personalized support.
The real problem is therefore not a lack of ability. It is the lack of an engaging, concept-based and learner-friendly pathway that allows every child to understand mathematics at their own pace.

Angayar possesses more than three decades of experience in academic & research institutions across India, Singapore, Australia, Middle East & UK educational system. She is a Math Hobbyist.

Prabhu is an entreprising entrepreneur for more than two decades and is a keen problem solver. He has got an international experience in executing projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei & India.

Dr. Bharat Bhushan
Bharat has more than two decades of experience in academic, research and industrial fields. He has a deep sense of mathematical acumen. He is currently serving as Vice President, Tata Steel Downstream Products Ltd (TSDPL).
